Parties to the Agreement<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_15928b-42 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_15928b-42\">The following terms and conditions apply to all subscription agreements entered into with Musiikkikoulu S\u00e4veltie Oy. The contracting party in these agreements is always considered to be the actual payer of the subscription, even if someone else participates in the lessons and uses the services. The payer is responsible for ensuring that the participant (hereinafter referred to as the student\/participant) also agrees to the terms and conditions below, to the extent that they apply to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Description of the Service<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_1a8dc2-5d wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_1a8dc2-5d\">Musiikkikoulu S\u00e4veltie offers a diverse range of music education services for students of all ages and skill levels. Our services include private and pair lessons, group instruction, music playschools, as well as potential weekend and intensive courses. Our full range of classes can be viewed at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.saveltie.fi\/en\/opetustarjonta\/\">www.saveltie.fi\/en\/opetustarjonta<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2.1. Private Lessons<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_705f06-04 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_705f06-04\">Personal instruction in various instruments, such as vocals, piano, bass, drums, guitar, and others. The lessons are tailored to the student's skill level and goals. Individual instruction includes 13 lessons per semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:clamp(20px, 1.25rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 1.25), 32px);\"><strong>2.1.1. S\u00e4veltie Mini Lessons<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_ead40a-8c wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_ead40a-8c\">Like private lessons, S\u00e4veltie Mini lessons provide personalized instruction in various instruments. The currently available instruments can be found on the webpage dedicated to S\u00e4veltie Mini lessons on our website. S\u00e4veltie Mini lessons consist of 14 sessions during the semester, each lasting 15 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2.2. Pair Lessons<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_62bd47-cf wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_62bd47-cf\">Instruction for two individuals at the same time. Multiple different instruments are offered such as voice, piano, bass, guitar, and other possible instruments. Lessons are tailored to the skill level and goals of the students. Pair lessons include 13 sessions per semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2.3. Group Lessons<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_b60ce1-28 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_b60ce1-28\">Group lessons covering various topics and emphases. Examples include vocal groups, band instruction, and music theory. Lessons are tailored to the group's skill level and goals. The minimum age for participating in group lessons is 7 years old. Group lessons include 10 sessions per semester.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2.4. Music Playschool (Muskari)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_4ab831-31 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_4ab831-31\">Music education for young children, where instruction occurs in groups through play and song. Some classes are designed for both children and their caregivers. Groups are organized by age, and the upper age limit for participation in these music classes is 6 years old. Students older than this age cannot continue in the music playschool but can join other individual, pair, or group lessons offered by Musiikkikoulu S\u00e4veltie.The Baby Music Playschool and the Music Playschool for 1\u20132-year-olds include 16 sessions of 30 minutes each, while other music playschools consist of 14 sessions of 45 minutes each during the semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2.5. Intensive Courses<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_f99d60-bc wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_f99d60-bc\">Group lessons covering various topics and focuses. Intensive courses include 4 sessions per semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2.6. S\u00e4veltie Weekend Courses<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_30b5bb-87 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_30b5bb-87\">Group instruction on various topics and emphases held at a pre-announced time. Weekend courses consist of 2 sessions of 120 minutes each, unless otherwise specified. Past and upcoming weekend courses can be found on our website's Weekend Courses page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2.7. Other Possible Classes<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_a293a1-b4 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_a293a1-b4\">We can also offer other types of instruction as separately specified, with terms provided alongside the offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Price and Payment Terms:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_ed54dd-b3 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_ed54dd-b3\">The price of the offered service is indicated in the Classes section of our website, as well as alongside the order form. The prices displayed on the order form at any given time are valid from the time of ordering the service until the end of the semester.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_620edc-4c wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_620edc-4c\">When ordering the service, the subscriber can choose a payment schedule that suits them. The schedules are: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol style=\"font-size:clamp(15.747px, 0.984rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.86), 24px);\" class=\"wp-block-list has-contrast-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e6e3a853aaabb4b350571e860bd9112b\">\n<li style=\"font-size:clamp(15.747px, 0.984rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.86), 24px);\"> One-time payment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:clamp(15.747px, 0.984rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.86), 24px);\">Two installments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:clamp(15.747px, 0.984rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.86), 24px);\">Monthly payment <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_0c96b2-e5 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_0c96b2-e5\">Regardless of the chosen payment schedule, the subscriber agrees to pay the full season fee for the duration of the semester according to the agreed-upon payment schedule.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_313e9b-4b wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_313e9b-4b\">Musiikkikoulu S\u00e4veltie will send an invoice to the service subscriber via email, with a due date of 14 days from the date the invoice is sent. If the invoice is not paid by the due date, we reserve the right to suspend instruction for the student to whom the invoice pertains. A payment reminder will be sent for overdue invoices, and a reminder fee of \u20ac5 will be added to the total amount of the invoice, along with any applicable late fees. If payment is not made despite the reminder, the debt will be forwarded for collection.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. Schedules:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_c46943-14 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_c46943-14\">The schedules for the offered services, including lesson times and dates, are established as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4.1. Private lessons<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_4bab90-1b wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_4bab90-1b\">Each student's personal music teacher or alternatively another representative of Musiikkikoulu S\u00e4veltie will arrange a regular lesson time for the student with the student or, alternatively, their guardian for the semester. The scheduling can occur at any time between registration and the start of lessons. Times are typically allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_a3357c-d6 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_a3357c-d6\">When scheduling, consideration is given to other ongoing music lessons at Musiikkikoulu S\u00e4veltie, as well as, where possible, the student's own scheduling preferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_cc4bff-ed wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_cc4bff-ed\">Private lessons are typically held weekly, but at the beginning of the semester, it is possible to agree with the teacher on potential breaks, such as during the autumn and winter holidays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_1b9da9-ee wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_1b9da9-ee\">For individual lesson rescheduling and cancellations, refer to section 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:clamp(16.834px, 1.052rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.955), 26px);\"><strong>4.1.1. S\u00e4veltie Mini Lessons<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_3bb907-9e wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_3bb907-9e\">The scheduling of S\u00e4veltie Mini lessons is arranged in the same way as for private classes, at the beginning of the semester and by each teacher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4.2. Pair lessons<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_85517b-ab wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_85517b-ab\">The scheduling of pair lessons is carried out in the same manner as individual lessons, with agreements made at the beginning of the semester with the teacher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4.3. Group Lessons<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_f77505-97 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_f77505-97\">The schedule for group lessons for the semester is available at the time of registration. By registering, the subscriber or the person they designate agrees to the times for lessons as specified by Musiikkikoulu S\u00e4veltie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_af895f-3b wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_af895f-3b\">Any illness-related or other absences will not be credited towards the season's fee<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4.4. Music Playschool (Muskari)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_37e662-97 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_37e662-97\">The schedule for music playschool lessons for the semester is available at the time of registration. Participation is subject to the same conditions as participating in group lessons (Section 4.3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4.5. Intensive Courses<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_24e930-71 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_24e930-71\">The schedule for intensive courses for the semester is available at the time of registration. Participation is subject to the same conditions as participating in group lessons (Section 4.3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4.6. S\u00e4veltie Weekend Courses<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_7af7c6-d9 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_7af7c6-d9\">Participation is subject to the same conditions as participating in group lessons (Section 4.3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_d76be6-bf wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_d76be6-bf\">The right to make schedule changes as needed is reserved for all aforementioned categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. Duration of the Agreement<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_ca46bc-eb wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_ca46bc-eb\">The subscription agreement between Musiikkikoulu S\u00e4veltie and the subscriber is valid indefinitely. This means that for private lessons, pair lessons, group lessons, and music playschool, the student's enrollment automatically transfers from the autumn semester to the spring semester, and from the spring semester to the autumn semester after the summer break, unless the agreement is terminated according to our cancellation terms (see section 6).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_c394d1-68 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_c394d1-68\">If there are any impediments for Musiikkikoulu S\u00e4veltie to continue the agreement, we aim to notify as early as possible, but no later than the end of the current semester.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_663f6d-b9 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_663f6d-b9\">For intensive courses and weekend courses, the agreement is not continuous but rather a fixed-term contract between Musiikkikoulu S\u00e4veltie and the subscriber for the duration of the course.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>6. Cancellation Terms<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_aa4747-04 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_aa4747-04\">Cancellation of the order agreement or withdrawal from participation must be made no later than four (4) weeks before the start of each semester or course. The cancellation must be sent via email to: <a href=\"mailto:toimisto@saveltie.fi\">toimisto@saveltie.fi<\/a>. A verbal notification, for example to your instrument teacher, is not considered a valid termination notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_e1a7f7-ab wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_e1a7f7-ab\">If the order agreement is canceled less than four weeks before the start of the semester or a shorter course, but before the instruction begins, half of the semester or course registration fee will be charged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_ab6cae-e2 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_ab6cae-e2\">If the order agreement is canceled after the semester or course has already started, or during the term, the full registration fee for that current term will be charged, and unused lessons will not be credited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_681008-1b wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_681008-1b\">Late cancellations due to prolonged or serious illness or accidents can be handled on a case-by-case basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>7. Responsibilities and obligations regarding absences<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_b19ac1-17 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_b19ac1-17\">Regarding individual absences during the semester, the responsibilities and obligations are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>7.1 Student's absence in private and pair lessons, as well as trial bundles<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_5b559e-88 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_5b559e-88\">If a student notifies their upcoming absence at least one week in advance, the teacher is obligated to offer one or more of the following alternative options for scheduling an individual or pair lesson:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list has-contrast-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-37e9d4435c0dff522e6b1731a03693bb\">\n<li style=\"font-size:clamp(15.747px, 0.984rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.86), 24px);\"> Online lesson via video call, if the participant's location and health allow it during the regular lesson time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:clamp(15.747px, 0.984rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.86), 24px);\">Rescheduling the lesson to another time, which can be its regular time on a different week, or any other mutually agreeable time for both parties, and for pair lessons, a suitable time for all three participants during the current semester.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_72b929-71 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_72b929-71\">If neither of the previous options is feasible, meaning the lesson cannot be rescheduled in any way during the current semester, the subscriber will be credited the calculated price of one lesson from the semester fee. The maximum number of lessons eligible for monetary reimbursement in a semester is two (2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_c54f3a-d6 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_c54f3a-d6\">Notification of absence less than a week before does not qualify for reimbursement of the semester fee nor obligate the teacher to find a replacement time for the lesson. However, if desired by the participant, the lesson can still be conducted online via video call at the regular lesson time, for example, if the participant is only mildly ill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>7.2. Absence of a student\/participant in group lessons, music playschool, intensive courses<\/strong> and weekend courses<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_5c3dbb-6c wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_5c3dbb-6c\">In the aforementioned categories, the participant's absence does not entitle to reimbursement of the seasonal fee, nor does it require seeking a replacement time regardless of the timing of the absence notification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_e11d12-58 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_e11d12-58\">However, if it is beneficial for the instruction and upon the absentee's request, they may attend another equivalent group session instead of their own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_b076fa-0e wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_b076fa-0e\">This is possible if multiple sessions of the same group are offered in the course schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_349bf9-fa wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_349bf9-fa\">The need for this arrangement is assessed on a case-by-case basis, and the participant must notify in advance if they wish to do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>7.3. Teacher absence in private and pair lessons, group lessons, music playschools, intensive courses, and weekend courses<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading1271_2ab5a2-6e wp-block-kadence-advancedheading hls-hover_underline\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading1271_2ab5a2-6e\">When a teacher is unable to attend a lesson, they are obligated to promptly notify the affected parties as soon as they become aware of the issue. In such cases, the teacher is responsible for taking the following actions as they deem most appropriate:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list has-contrast-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-9fbef184a4fbaff913ec817fad202500\">\n<li style=\"font-size:clamp(15.747px, 0.984rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.86), 24px);\">Arranging a substitute to conduct the lesson at its regular time. Substitutes employed by Musiikkikoulu S\u00e4veltie are staff members of the school or otherwise deemed reliable and competent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:clamp(15.747px, 0.984rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.86), 24px);\">If it's not possible to arrange a substitute, the teacher will try to find an alternative time for the lesson that suits all participants and doesn't cause undue inconvenience to either party. This alternative time must be scheduled within the current semester.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:clamp(15.747px, 0.984rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.86), 24px);\">If, despite the above efforts, the lesson cannot be held, the participants will be compensated with the proportional amount of the lesson's cost deducted from the semester fee.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-contrast-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1cb331ca3f6774c442cd89bc33731876 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:clamp(15.747px, 0.984rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.86), 24px);\">In cases of so-called force majeure events, which refer to unforeseen circumstances beyond control, specific conditions outlined in section 8 will apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>8.
