You can now register for the Fall 2025 semester at Säveltie Music School! Our curriculum will largely remain the same, but there are a few exciting new additions. Already this spring, we’ve expanded our offerings with Säveltie Mini classes, ukulele lessons, and weekend courses for adults.
Music Playgroups Now Offered on Two Days a Week
We understand that Friday afternoons don’t suit everyone, so we’ve added a second option for our music playgroups (muskari): Tuesdays! The Tuesday groups will run at the same times as our Friday ones. You can choose your preferred day when registering.
So, a warm welcome to our music playgroups—now on Tuesdays or Fridays!

Säveltie Mini – Instrument Classes for Young Children
Säveltie Mini classes are low-threshold instrument lessons for children aged 4–6. The shortened 15-minute format makes the classes fun and manageable, allowing even young kids to begin exploring music. Through playful exercises, children get familiar with their instrument in a stress-free environment, helping build a lasting and positive connection with music.
Säveltie Mini is available for singing, piano, ukulele, and drums.
Ukulele lessons
The ukulele has become a hugely popular instrument in recent years—and for good reason. Its small size and simple technique make it accessible for the whole family. Ukulele lessons are available both as regular instrumental lessons and as Säveltie Mini classes.

Practice Room Rentals
A common problem for city dwellers: where can you practice music without disturbing the neighbors? To help with this, we’ve started renting out our classrooms as practice spaces—for both hobbyists and professionals.
Everyone is welcome to book a room. Säveltie students receive a 50% discount on all bookings. Members of the Finnish Musicians' Union can also rent rooms at a special price of €15/hour.
