We offer a wide range of options including private and pair lessons, as well as a variety of music courses from Music Playschools to different groups ranging from Karaoke Course to Band Carousel. Explore the full range here.
Our autumn semester begins on Monday, August 19, 2024. We will have our autumn break during week 42, from October 14 to 20.
Säveltie's grand opening will be on Sunday, August 11
To celebrate our first semester, we are hosting an open house day where you can explore our facilities and sign up for classes. We will provide guidance on filling out the online form if needed, and paper registration forms will also be available for those interested.
We are also offering free trial lessons, such as a trial Music Playschool. More details on these will be announced soon. Additionally, coffee and light snacks will be available!
Summer courses at Säveltäjänpuisto
We organized free summer courses at Säveltäjänpuisto, Pukinmäki in collaboration with Nuori Taide -foundation and Perhetalo Unikko's For the youngest family members, we offered "Savanna Music Playschool" led by our music playschool teacher Elizabeth Hiltunen. For slightly older children, we organized "Sound of the World" band workshops where kids could learn to play band instruments without prior experience.
In the band workshop, instruments are introduced one at a time. As each instrument becomes familiar, the next one is added. Eventually, a complete band is formed where everyone can play! At the same time, participants learn many songs that they can continue practicing at home.
The courses received wide praise from participants and our partners. We also offer a similar band workshop "Band Carousel" for the entire school year. So, if you're interested in band playing, it's worth signing up!
Other things
We work hard to ensure that everyone's experience at Säveltie is as pleasant and easy as possible. So please don't hesitate to contact us if you have feedback, ideas for improvement, or perhaps specific instrument requests! We can arrange lessons with relatively low barriers, so it's definitely worth asking.
