Anna Arola
Anna Arola is a singer, vocal coach, actress, and director from Helsinki. She graduated as a vocal coach from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in the spring of 2021 and as a musician from Joensuu Conservatory in the spring of 2017. Currently, she is completing her studies to become a theatre instructor at Turku University of Applied Sciences and is also studying musical theatre at Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
As a teacher, Anna approaches each person as an individual and strives to create a safe space for everyone to explore, play, and experiment – without performance pressure. A shared curiosity about music and the human voice is very important to her.
Anna has worked with people of all ages, teaching both groups and private students. At Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, her focus was on students with special needs..

Elizabeth Hiltunen
Elizabeth Hiltunen graduated from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences as a music educator, specializing in early childhood music education and applied use of the arts. Currently, she is in her final year studying musical theatre at Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
Elizabeth is primarily a singer, but she is also skilled in accompanying herself on piano, accordion, and ukulele.
Previously, Elizabeth has taught music playgroups (muskari) and band groups for school-aged children in the Helsinki metropolitan area and Tampere. The most important aspect of teaching for her is experiencing the joy of music together through shared successes.

Janne Kovanen
Passion, creativity, and curiosity – these are the most important elements of music and art for singing teacher Janne Kovanen. He believes that the role of art is to enhance well-being and provide us with tools to express emotions, and even touch others with them. Janne holds a degree as a professional musician and music educator (B.A.), and he has experienced the joy of music singing pop on festival stages and in musicals, as well as composing in his home studio.
In Janne's classes, the focus is on fostering a curious creativity in creating art, discovering one's own voice in both singing and composing, and harnessing the power of inspiration and encouragement. He believes that each of us has our own way of seeing and hearing the world, as well as experiencing emotions, and that the role of technique and musical tools is to facilitate the expression and communication of these things—in a safe and accepting atmosphere.

Eetu Hämäläinen
Eetu Hämäläinen is a musician and music educator from Helsinki. He has extensive experience as a performing musician, as well as in composing and arranging. Eetu has composed film music and also a full-length musical! Additionally, he has written arrangements for various ensembles, including several wind orchestras. He enjoys playing music of all genres himself.
Continuous learning is part of Eetu's philosophy of life, and he strives to find opportunities to learn something new in every moment. Eetu has graduated from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences both as a musician and music educator.
As a teacher, Eetu is calm and provides his students with the time and space they need to progress in their studies. What matters most to him is that students feel safe to explore their musicality in class and have the opportunity to be exactly who they are.

Mortti Markkanen
Mortti Markkanen is an experienced and trained musician who oversees bass teaching at Säveltie and directs bands and theory groups. He has extensive and diverse experience in both double bass and electric bass playing across various bands, orchestras, and theaters throughout Finland. His broad knowledge spans from heavy metal and jazz to pop and musicals, with a special affinity for Latin American music in its many forms. Mortti has also composed and arranged extensively for various ensembles.
In Mortti's lessons, progression is based on the student's personal goals, and there's no need for anxiety. Many students have been delighted by the insights gained during lessons, discovering new perspectives in their playing or musical thinking. Mortti's attentive and calm approach has often proven to be the most fitting.

Petteri Pääkkönen
Petteri Pääkkönen is a professional musician from Helsinki. He is in his final year at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. His daily life includes active performing, arranging, composing, and teaching.
Creating a safe atmosphere is the most important aspect of Petteri's guitar lessons. Students can come and go with a positive mindset, allowing music to become a valuable resource in their lives.
Petteri has several years of experience in teaching both private and group lessons. Welcome to explore the path of music!

Taneli Kiiskinen
Taneli Kiiskinen is a professional musician (B.A.) from Helsinki. As a teacher, Taneli is attentive and precise, aiming to create a helpful and encouraging atmosphere for learning. It is particularly important to Taneli that students feel inspired after each lesson. His classes focus on versatile use of the drum set and a thorough exploration of fundamental playing techniques.
In drum lessons, Taneli encourages his students to explore creativity and find their own voice on the instrument. The topics covered always stem from the student's own interests. The question in his classes is always – what would you like to learn?
